Artist Statement – Souvenir Badges
Remember those souvenir badges we use to stitch onto our favourite blanket or jacket as a child. They were a little memento to prove you had been somewhere and seen something special! These works seek to highlight the fragility of our indigenous fauna. Now in some places the only place you will see a native bird is on Google or a postcard!
